I’m doing a weird thing today. I’m hosting my own writing prompt by answering the prompt of another. You guys remember MamaKat, right? Well, she’s asking us to “list 10 things you love about your favorite show.”
TV. (happy sigh) That seems easy enough.
Of course, first I need to pick a show. And with so many favorites over the years ranging from Arrested Development to The X-Files, this decision might prove harder than I thought. Nah. I’m going with Modern Family. Because it airs currently and is likely the show with which most of you will identify. Or, if you haven’t seen it, you’ll take my recommendation and watch it at your very next opportunity. So, without futher ado, here are …

The show makes me laugh. Consistently. To the extent that I often quote it in mixed company. When people get it, we form an immediate bond. When they don’t, I’m branded a lunatic.
So, don’t go anywhere, Modern Family. I’m not done with you yet.

I was watching #MFOY last night and was laughing so hard (and Jacob was too, he loves Lily!) Such great writing and perfect timing from those actors.
I gotta say Manny>Gloria as far as great lines. Other assets, well… 🙂
Then again, I would say Manny>Mitchell.
So Cam, Manny would be my top two.

I LOVE this show! It’s one of the only shows me and the hubs literally laugh out loud to. Em likes it as well. It’s hard to pick a favorite. I think Phil and Cam might be my top 2. What makes the show so great is that it’s relatable.
They gave me a great idea to preventing your kid from running off at Disneyland, princesses shoes! I may be doing this when we go to Disneyland ourselves in a few weeks. 🙂

I just caught an episode and a half last night! By accident! And lucky me, Matt Dillon was a guest star!
Find the series somewhere and watch it from the beginning so you can “grow” with the characters. (I promise I’m not a dork.) You won’t be sorry. 🙂
I am in LOVE with Modern Family! I have about 31 in my DVR querie. I am just waiting for the baby and I will watch them throughout the night!
